Fledglings are day nurseries based in Romford and Hornchurch.
Fledgelings Day Nursery Romford was established in November 1992. The nursery is located in a large Victorian house, in a cul-de-sac within 5 minutes walk from Romford town centre and railway station. The sympathetic conversion of the property lends itself to a family-orientate type of childcare. There is a large garden, landscaped for the child’s play. We offer a friendly and caring environment where children will develop through stimulating activities.
Fledgelings Day Nursery was established in January 1987. The nursery is located in a Large detached corner plot with a large size garden and parking spaces on the side of the house for at least 4 cars, mainly used by staff and parents who drop off and pick up their children. There is a garden, with soft play surface which have our slides for the children to play on.
The nurseries required a comfortable temperature all year round for the children and the staff. By installing our Air Source Heat Pump Air Conditioning this provides heating in the winter and cooling in the summer. It also allows for room temperatures to be changed at nap times or activity times therefore providing complete flexibility at all times.
An agreed plan was worked through with the nursery on which rooms would be unoccupied at what times and cordon off to ensure a safe environment for the children whilst the installation. Additionally it was agreed that we could start early prior to the children arriving for the noisy activities, and that we would break during the children’s nap times.
All our team are DBS checked which enables us to be able to work in nurseries and schools.
All the units are serviced twice a year to ensure they are cleaned and tested working to their optimum capability.
The units are also the only source of heating reducing the cost of heating verses other forms of heating
